Benefits of the Vrio Shopify App

The custom app allows you to utilize the backend tools from Vrio while using the robust frontend of Shopify. The app will complete the checkout, allowing for use of the Vrio Payment Router and subscription logic and all the features the Vrio backend has to offer.

Dual syncing both product and customer / order information allows you to have full control of your program.

Prior to September 2020, Shopify allowed for third party checkout applications. Shopify has modified that stance and now requires permission prior to implementing a third party checkout. Failure to make this request may result in the store being flagged by Shopify Compliance and causing the store URL to be blocked.

Adding your Shopify Store

Vrio utilizes a Partner Accounts with Shopify to support the Vrio App. To link your Shopify store to your Vrio instance follow these steps.

Syncing

Vrio has a dual sync with Shopify. Products, Discounts and Customer / order information will sync between the two systems.

Vrio Items+Offers must be added to the Vrio Campaign that is linked to your Shopify store for the Items to sync to Shopify.

Selling Subscriptions

With Vrio Billing, you can sell subscriptions within your store. When Shopify Products are added, there is a Non-Recurring Offer automatically created.
