Upsells Allowed
- If the Discount Code is Global, define if the discount can be applied to Upsells as well. If checked, Upsells will have a discount applied. If left unchecked, discounts applied on Upsells will not apply.
Related Discount Codes
- This allows a discount code to be tied to another discount code
- At checkout, if a Discount Code is used that has a Related Discount Code, once the second offer is selected a notification will pop up with codes that are available
- For Example: Code 10OFF has a Related Code of 10PERCENT. Offer A uses 10OFF, Offer B then is prompted that they can use 10PERCENT.
This can be used for an added promotion to prompt an upsell.

Discount Use Type
Single Use Discount Codes
A single-use discount code only be redeemed once by a customer during checkout. Once utilized, the code becomes inactive, preventing further use. This strategy allows stores to provide exclusive, personalized discounts while maintaining control over their distribution.
Here are a few ways that businesses might use single use discount codes:
- Email campaigns: Businesses might send out email campaigns to customers that include a single use discount code. This can encourage customers to make a purchase and help to track the effectiveness of the campaign.
- Referral programs: Businesses might offer single use discount codes to customers who refer new customers to the business. This can incentivize customers to spread the word about the business and help to attract new customers.
- Abandoned cart recovery: Businesses might send a single use discount code to customers who have abandoned their cart before completing a purchase. This can encourage the customer to complete their purchase and help to recover lost sales.
Recurring Discount Codes
A recurring discount code is a promotional tool used in e-commerce, offering customers consistent price reductions on a regular basis. Unlike one-time codes, these are repeatedly applicable within a specified timeframe. Typically provided to subscribers or loyal patrons, they foster customer retention, incentivize repeat purchases, and can be automated for convenience. This approach builds customer relationships and encourages continued engagement with the online store.
Here are a few examples of how businesses might use recurring discount codes:
- Subscription services: Businesses that offer subscription services might offer a recurring discount code to customers who sign up for a monthly or yearly subscription. This can incentivize customers to continue their subscription and help to reduce churn.
- Loyalty programs: Businesses might offer a recurring discount code as part of a loyalty program, where customers earn rewards or discounts for making repeat purchases. This can help to build customer loyalty and encourage customers to continue making purchases over time.
- Regular customers: Businesses might offer a recurring discount code to regular customers who make frequent purchases. This can help to build a relationship with these customers and encourage them to continue making purchases in the future.
