Welcome to Vrio! This guide will walk you through the essential steps to set up your account and place your first order. In just a few minutes, you'll have everything configured to start accepting payments and processing transactions.

Step 1: Create a Merchant Account

A merchant account connects Vrio to your payment gateway, enabling you to process transactions. We recommend starting with the Test Gateway to familiarize yourself with Vrio using our test cards. When you're ready for production, view our Supported Payment Gateways to see all available options.

1. Navigate to Merchants in your Vrio admin
2. Select Add Merchant Account
3. Choose your payment gateway from the dropdown (select "Test Gateway" to get started)
4. Fill in the required fields (marked with a red asterisk*)
5. Click Submit

Step 2: Create an Item

Items are the products or services you sell. They can be physical products that ship or digital products where access is granted.

1. Navigate to Items
2. Select Add Item
3. Name your item (this will be displayed to customers)
4. Set the default price
5. Click Submit

Step 3: Create an Offer

Offers define how you sell your items - the billing schedule, pricing, and fulfillment details.

You can create either a Shared Offer (reusable across multiple items) or a Custom Offer (specific to a single item).

Create an Offer

1. Navigate to Offers
2. Click Add Offer
3. Enter a Name for your offer
4. Select Offer Type (Recurring or One Time Sale)
5. Choose Shared or Custom for Offer Configuration
6. Configure your billing schedule and pricing details
7. Click Submit

Step 4: Add Your Item and Offer to a Campaign

A campaign is your sales channel - it brings together your items, offers, payment settings, and branding.

1. Navigate to Campaigns
2. Select your campaign
3. Click the Items tab
4. Add your item and select the offer(s) you want available
5. Click Submit
