Payment Restriction Rules
Restricting who can purchase is a common requirement for many businesses, particularly those that sell age-restricted or regulated products or services.
Here are a few ways to restrict who can purchase from your business:
Purchase-based restrictions
One way to restrict who can purchase from your business is based on previous purchases.
Limiting the number of purchases for a single customer or household allows you to control who has access to your products or services and ensure that fraudulent charges are not occurring.
Within each Offer, restrict to one per customer or one per card. You can also setup one per card with x hours in order to limit duplicate purchase errors.

Geographic restrictions
If your products or services are restricted by location or jurisdiction, you can use geolocation location to block customers from certain regions from accessing your website or making purchases.
Set geographical restrictions within the Fulfillment section of the Campaign. Set which countries and/or states are allowed.
Or within your Shipping Profile setup, limit to only locations within the Shipping Profile.

Payment restrictions
You can also restrict payment methods to limit who can make purchases. For example, if you only accept credit cards, this may limit the number of customers who can make purchases. Alternatively, you can restrict payment methods to certain countries or regions to ensure that only authorized customers are making purchases.
- Card Type Restrictions - Restrict the card types that are accepted - Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover, etc. This is setup within the Merchant Account, set which card types are available.
- BIN Restrictions - Setup BIN restrictions to determine what BINs (Card first 6) are allowed to purchase. You may setup BIN Restrictions on specific Merchant Accounts and/or within the Sales Channel.

By implementing one or more of these methods, you can help to ensure that your business is complying with any legal or regulatory requirements and that you are selling to only authorized customers.
