Gift Subscription

A gift subscription is a type of subscription where a purchaser pays for the subscription on behalf of someone else, who can then claim and customize their subscription. The purchaser is typically charged upfront for the gift subscription, and the recipient can typically choose the length of the subscription, the frequency of deliveries or access, and any other customization options that may be available. Gift subscriptions are often used as presents for holidays, birthdays, or other special occasions.

Gift Subscriptions are typically setup as a One Time Prepaid that after the allotted access or shipments have completed, there are no additional charges.

To setup a Gift Subscription

1. Navigate to Offer
2. Select the Offer you wish to allow as giftable, or create a new Offer
3. Navigate to the Gift Details tab
4. Select Gift Option

5. Add responders to be sent for the gifting flow

   1. Gift Responder
   2. Claimed Giftee Responder
   3. Claimed Giftor Responder
   
6. Hit Submit

Gift Record

Within Vrio a record will be created for the customer who purchased the gift and it is tied to the gift details. Once the giftee claims the gift, a new customer record is created for that giftee.

1. Giftee - The person receiving the gift
2. Gifter - The person giving the gift

Gift Cards

Gift cards are purchased for a dollar amount. At the time of purchase a unique code is generated. This code can then be used during checkout and applied towards the cart balance.
