Adding an Offer
An Offer is required to sell any physical or digital item. An Offer dictates the billing and shipping schedule of an Item.
Default Offers are pre-loaded for you to use. However if you have a unique selling strategy you can create new Offers to be used.
Adding an Offer
To add a new Offer
-
Navigate to the Offer tab
-
Select Add Offer
-
Input the Name
-
Select Offer Type
- Recurring: This will continue to schedule and bill until the customer cancels
- One Time Sale: This will charge the customer once, with no subsequent transactions being scheduled
-
Select Offer Product Type
- Item: This is used if you are selling a single Item on this Offer or for any Upsell Offers. It could be a uniquely setup offer such as offering a trial period for that product that would have a unique cycle 1 then renew to cycle 2. Item based Offer Types typically rely on using the cycle builder for the sales strategy
- Dynamic Item: This is used if you wish to sell multiple Items in the same Offer. This is common for One-Time Sales and standard Monthly Recurring billing strategies. Below you can see this Monthly offer has multiple Items. The Price may be adjusted based on the Item and/or Variant of that Item.

- Click Submit
At this point you have created a basic Offer.Offers have the ability to be basic, or highly customized. Once you have created the basic Offer, be sure to continue through each tab of the Offer to determine any additional customization that is needed
Recurring Offers will require Charge Frequencies prior to being ready for use
What is a Dynamic Item vs Item?
Dynamic Item
A Dynamic Item Product Type will allow you to sell multiple Items within a single offer.
- All Items are sold the same way - single billing plan (one time, monthly, etc). The Cycle Builder is not an option for Dynamic Items.
- All Offer Details are shared by all Items (Restrictions, Responders, Dunning, etc)
Restrictions of Dynamic Item Product TypesThese types of Offers cannot be sold as an Upsell
Item
An Item Product Type means this Offer will sell just a single Sku.
- When using the Cycle Builder. **This means you have multiple renewal cycles that are created differently.
- For Upsell Items

Charging & Shipping Frequency
The Configuration Tab is where the required setup is located prior to an Offer being ready to use. This is where you will set up the Charge and Shipping frequencies.
There will be different requirements based on the Offer Type
Charge Frequencies
A charge frequency is what will determine when any future billings are to be scheduled, and at what time.

Shipping Frequency
If you are shipping Items with this Offer and want to adjust any shipping logic, under the Offer Configuration is where you will do this.
A shipping frequency is how often and when the physical product is being sent to the fulfillment center to be shipped to the customer. In the case of a prepaid offer, a single charge could create and schedule multiple shipments to be sent in intervals. Or simply delay the shipment from posting to the warehouse for X hours, to allow for any order updates.

Apply Discounts
Within the unique offer you can determine discounts and restrictions. Common Discounting options are:
