Enable Responders to Send
Once you have built your responders, you will need to enable them for use by selecting them across the designated input areas.
Why do I need this
Responders are only sent when they are added to input fields. The input fields are what enables the Responder.
Table Definitions:
Table Header | Definition |
---|---|
Location | The object module that contains the input field. |
Field | The field name where the Responder is selected from a drop down list. |
What happens | The description of what will trigger the input field to send the Responder. |
Overwritten by | Some input fields will be overwritten and will send a Responder from a different location if BOTH input fields are utilized. Example: If you have a Responder input field selected at the Campaign Shipped and Offer Shipped, the Offer Shipped will send NOT the Campaign. Given the Offer Shipped can also be selected at the Offer Cycle level, the Campaign Shipped can also be blocked from sending by Offer Cycle Shipped. |
Campaign
Input fields:
Below are a list of the different input fields at the Campaign level and what triggers them to send Responders. Every Order is associated to a Campaign.
Location | Field | What happens | Overwritten by |
---|---|---|---|
Campaign | Order Responder | Sends every time there is a new order. A renewal on a subscription is not a new order; just a renewal of the original order creating the subscription. See offer cycles for subscription renewals. | |
Campaign | Order Auth Responder | Sends every time there is a new authorization for an order. Once the order authorization is captured, the Campaign Order input field is triggered to send. | |
Campaign | Partial Responder Schedule | Connects the Campaign to a scheduler for abandon checkouts. These abandon checkouts create Partial Orders. The schedule is used to fine tune the frequency, amount of outbound emails and messaging. See Manage Checkout Abandons. | |
Campaign | RMA Responder | Sends when a shipment has an RMA applied. See Initiate an RMA. | Offer RMA |
Campaign | Return Responder | Send when a shipment has a Return applied indicating the shipment was received in your returns department. See Check in a Return. | Offer Return |
Campaign | Shipped Responder | Sends when a shipment has a tracking number added. This can occur automatically based on a third party connection or manually if entered. | Offer Shipped |
Campaign | Delivered Responder | Send when a shipment with a valid tracking number shows the status of delivered. This will occur automatically when Vrio is integrated to the carrier or if manually indicated. | Offer Delivered |
Campaign | Void Responder | Sends when a payment is voided. Payment voids are like refunds with the difference being a void happens before the payment is settled by the gateway. | Offer Void |
Campaign | Refund Responder | Sends when a payment is refunded. | Offer Refund |
Offer
Below are a list of the different input fields at the Offer level and what triggers them to send Responders. Every Offer is associated to an Order.
Location | Field | What happens | Overwritten by |
---|---|---|---|
Offer | Welcome Responder | Sends on the first order when containing an Offer that is recurring ("Subscription"). | |
Offer | Refund Responder | Sends when that specific Offer is refunded. If the refund is initiated by a transaction with more than one Offer, the Campaign Refund is triggered. | |
Offer | Void Responder | Sends when that specific Offer |
