Preinstalled Offers are automatically created for speed to market launch. Those Preinstalled Offers will follow the default settings across all offers. You can also create
If you are running a unique offer structure that does not fit with the existing Preinstalled Offers, use the Offer Cycle Builder to setup custom Offer schedules.
What is a Cycle Builder
The Offer Cycle Builder allows you to create unique purchase options based on the renewal cycle that a customer is on.
If you are not charging/shipping the customer the same item for the same price at the same time every renewal, you will need to build out the different renewal cycles.
When to add a Custom Offer
- Multiple renewal cycles where certain renewal cycles are different
- Different Pricing
- Different Items
- Retention strategies - add a promotion at a certain renewal cycle
- Split testing different options
Adding an Offer with Cycles
Cycle Builder is not available for Dynamic Item Offer Types
Add a new Offer:

Name the Offer

Offer Type, Recurring

Offer Product Type, select Item

Add the Item

Add the price to use *This will be used for the initial Cycle

Choose the Charge Frequency

Hit Submit
Add Renewal Schedule**

Navigate to the Configuration Tab

Hit Add Cycle

Add the Item being sold
-
Price to charge for this renewal cycle of the subscription

Add the Charge Frequency

Check Final Cycle only if there should be no additional charges after that renewal. The order will be Completed.
On a Recurring Offer, the last cycle will continue to renew until it is cancelled, unless the "Is Final" Flag is checked.

Customize per Renewal
Lastly, you can customize each cycle. This will be done by clicking on the Cycle that you wish to edit.
Similarly to creating a new Offer, the same options are available within each Cycle to allow full customization and flexibility.

- Click on the Cycle to edit
- You can customize each cycle with the following components:
- Charge Details
- Item being Sold
- Price to charge the customer
- Frequency to charge the customer
- Shipping Details
- Specific Shipping Fees to charge for that cycle
- Multiple Shipments to be scheduled, for a prepaid option
- Fulfillment Delay
- Returns Profile
- Discount Logic
- Responders to be sent for this specific cycle
- Customer Handling Options
- Postback Details
- Charge Details

In this scenario there is an initial Trial offering where:
- The trial period is 21 days
- A sample size product is shipped
- After the trial period, the subscription renews every 30 days and a full size product is shipped until the customer cancels
